Five-Day SANE-SART Training
Linda Ledray
R.N., PhD., SANE-A, FAAN. Linda Ledray is perhaps a pioneer in the SANE-SART field, nationally and internationally renowned for her work in SANE-SART. Currently, she works as Director in SANE-SART resources at the Minneapolis Medical Research Foundation.
- She developed victim service providers in Cambodia, Haiti and Bosnia as part of her military service and international relief efforts.
- She also participates in statistics at the National Academy of Sciences and as part of the Technical Working Group on Biological Evidence Preservation for the NIJ.
- She is a founding member of the International Association of Forensic Nurses.
- Her books include: Recovering from Rape and The Single Woman’s Vacation Guide, as well as numerous other publications in the field of SANE-SART.
Monday-Tuesday and Friday material is suitable for Sexual Assault Response advocates, social workers, counselors, law enforcement etc.; Wednesday and Thursday are specifically for Sexual Assault Nurse Examiner training for nurses. This training focuses on adolescent through adult victims.
CEUs for nursing are available as well as CEUs for counseling and advocacy. This training is free, but registration is limited.
